Get started with our Email Activity Data documentation and unlock engagement insights to help you connect with the most active contacts on your email list.

With Activity Data, you’ll be able to unlock engagement data of your subscribers. ZeroBounce's scoring partners help identify email addresses whose last known activity was up to 365 days prior. Have insight about openers, clickers, forwarders and unsubscribers.This data enrichment is available to all users and is an optional service. If opted into, each matched contact will consume a validation credit.

Follow the steps below to begin unlocking Activity Data using the ZeroBounce dashboard;

Upload a file using the standard method. Once the email validation process is complete, click on the purple Download button to its right.

You’ll be presented with the data appends check boxes, along with the new activity data module.

Note: Since Activity Data is an optional add-on, the selection box will be unchecked by default.

In the test file, there is activity data for 884 recipients.

If selected, the Activity Data column will be added to the download file. ZeroBounce’s scoring partners have matched the data and have returned one of six possible results. If you'd like more information about the results, simply click the link in the module:

The results will be 1 of 7 options.

  • null (not found) and no credit deducted
  • “30” - For a match with a last activity date that is less than 30 days old
  • “60” - For a match with a last activity date that is less than 60 days old
  • “90” - For a match with a last activity date that is less than 90 days old
  • “180” - For a match with a last activity date that is less than 180 days old
  • “365” - For a match with a last activity date that is less than 365 days old
  • “365+” - For a match with a last activity date that is more than 365 days oldSignifies a potentially old and outdated contact - not recommended for cold emailing.
