The ZeroBounce API may not be used externally within a third party product, platform, or service under our standard Terms of Service. External API usage requires prior approval and is subject to additional commercial requirements, including a minimum commitment.
All external use cases must be reviewed to ensure the appropriate agreement is in place and the implementation meets ZeroBounce technical, security, data handling, and branding requirements.

Our Activity Data feature allows you to gather insights into your subscribers’ overall email engagement. The tool returns if the email inbox has been active in the past 30, 60, 90, 180, 365, or 365+ days. This indicates a potentially outdated contact, not recommended for cold emailing. We also return the first date when we detected a signal (activity) for this email. Thus, you can improve your targeting and personalization and run more successful email campaigns.
If you’re interested in returning results via an API, Activity Data is also compatible. The API endpoint URL is below. Replace 'your_api_key' with your actual API key from your account.
If you are unsure where to find your API key, you can either generate a new one or use an existing key. If you’re uncertain about how to interact with our API, please refer to our expanded API documentation.

Starting September 3, 2026, this endpoint also accepts POST. Use the same parameters as GET, sent in the request body as application/x-www-form-urlencoded.

Bad API key requests (200 times in 1 hour) to the following endpoints will result in a temporary block for 1 hour:
