How do ZeroBounce and Emailable compare? We look at the two email verifiers to better understand what sets them apart.

ZeroBounce vs. Emailable: which one’s better?

Picking the right email verification service can be challenging. With hundreds of options on the market, it may be difficult to decide: which one is the best for your business?

We compared ZeroBounce to several email list cleaning providers to see how they stack up. Here, we take a look at Emailable – formerly known as Blazeverify – and present the facts as accurately as we can.

While some features overlap, there are significant differences between the two email checkers. First, let’s look at the pricing: ZeroBounce allows you to validate 10,000 email addresses for $65, while Emailable charges $50. However, once you understand what you get for your money, the difference starts to make sense.

Moreover, Emailable has a mandatory minimum purchase of 5,000 email validation credits. At ZeroBounce, the minimum purchase is 2,000 credits. Both services allow you to keep your credits indefinitely – they never expire.

What risky email contacts can ZeroBounce detect?

ZeroBounce can identify more than invalid emails, as any email verifier should. Take abuse email addresses, for example. They belong to frequent complainers who may report you as spam and affect your sender reputation. The more spam complaints you get, the higher the chances for your emails to start landing in spam. Emailable does not identify abuse emails and can only detect some spam traps.

While it can weed out disposable addresses and catch-all domains, Emailable has limitations when it comes to data appending. The service can add genders and names, but does not mention the appending of any other types of data. ZeroBounce, on the other hand, enhances your database by adding missing info to it – such as gender, name, location, and in certain cases, IP information. Our company does this at no extra cost.

Three things the email validators have in common:

• Both remove duplicate contacts for free

• Neither of them charges for “unknown” results, meaning email addresses they weren’t able to validate

• Apart from email validation, both services provide extra deliverability tools – such as email server and inbox placement testing

Unlike Emailable, ZeroBounce provides blacklist monitoring.

Email scoring at ZeroBounce vs. Emailable

ZeroBounce was at the forefront of the email validation space when it launched ZeroBounce A.I. in 2018. The email scoring system is especially useful in the validation of catch-all emails, but of course, can score any other email address.

Emailable also has an email scoring service that provides a quality score from 0 to 100. However, the company doesn’t offer more information on how this service works.

Finally, Emailable claims to offer 24/7 customer support. Nonetheless, when we tested the live chat, we weren’t able to connect with anyone. The company does not disclose the accuracy of its email verification system. In addition, as opposed to ZeroBounce, it does not promise a money-back guarantee.
