Hard to decide between ZeroBounce and AtData? No worries, we did the research to save you time. Check out the comparison below where you can find all the information in one place – and make the right choice.
What do ZeroBounce and AtData do for you?
ZeroBounce and AtData (previously known as FreshAddress) are both email validation services. To put it simply, they both help you separate the valid emails from the invalid and detrimental. Sending emails to invalid or inactive addresses will hurt your email deliverability, which will derail your email marketing efforts.
However, there’s more to email validation, as invalid emails aren’t the only types of risky contacts.
Both ZeroBounce and AtData also detect spam traps, abuse, disposable and catch-all emails. You must periodically find these addresses on your email database so you can remove them.
Another feature the email checkers have in common is that they both append metadata to your list – with ZeroBounce having greater capability to add missing info.
How much do ZeroBounce and AtData cost?
We’d love to be able to tell you how much AtData charges for their service, but they don’t make that information publicly available. You must contact them and talk to their sales team.
At ZeroBounce, on the other hand, the pricing is transparent. First off, you can validate 100 email addresses for free, every month. That allows you to test the email verifier and also, it’s a great option if your email list is growing at a slower pace.
If you need to purchase more credits, the pricing page has a box that asks “How many emails do you need to verify?” Whether you need 500 or 500,000, it will tell you the price instantly. The only reason you’d need to contact the team is if you needed enterprise pricing of more than a million credits.
Checking 10,000 addresses with ZeroBounce costs $80.
How much support do ZeroBounce and AtData offer?
AtData has a New York area phone number you can call. We tried them a couple of times, and were in a queue listening to “music on hold” for a couple of minutes. They don’t have a chat box, but they do have an email address and a contact form you can fill out.
ZeroBounce has a toll-free number you can call from 5 AM to 7 PM EST, Monday through Friday. You’ll reach someone in seconds. Moreover, ZeroBounce always has someone checking the support email and in the chat box, you’ll get a reply from a real live person in seconds, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year. Clearly, ZeroBounce has an elevated support and sales experience.
How else do the two services differ?
Although there are a few things that are the same, like email validation and data appending, AtData does not mention anything about whether it removes duplicate contacts. ZeroBounce does this for free.
We mentioned that it’s easier to get a hold of a live person with ZeroBounce, but what if something goes wrong and you have to ask for a refund? ZeroBounce offers a money-back guarantee, whereas it’s not clear whether AtData has any kind of guarantee.
How about accuracy? ZeroBounce guarantees 99%. As for AtData, it’s not completely clear just how accurate its email verification service is.
Take a look at the comparison below and reach out to us if you have questions. There’s always someone at ZeroBounce that’s there for you. That’s true whether you’re a customer or not, or if you just have a question.
